I lost a child on 04/23/06 only to find out it was due to a scarred uterus from the previous pregnancy(C-section)! I wish I would have know this, I may have been able to carry the baby full term! What is some advice if I get pregnant again?

I’m so sorry for your loss *hugs* I’ve lost a child too, not to the same thing, but I remember my OB/GYN telling me that if I was ready for another baby, then it was the best thing in the world for me. I’m not sure if you’d be considered a high-risk case or not since I’m not a doctor, so if a doctor’s given you the go-ahead to try for another baby, and all you’re after is just a way to help you conceive I strongly recommend Toni Weschler’s Taking Charge of Your Fertility book, and you could also get her computer program to make it super easy to chart your cycles. The program is called Ovusoft. Some friends suggested it to me and I’ve read Toni’s book and have used her method both to achieve pregnancy and also to avoid pregnancy. It really isn’t hard to do at all. I’ve seen MANY friends who had been trying for years for another baby, become pregnant within a couple of months of using Toni’s advice. These were friends who had even been on prescriptions to help them conceive and that didn’t work, but Toni’s method did. I hope it will help you too! As for having a baby after a c-section, it’s certainly possible. I’ve had 2 daughters after an emergency c-section, one was a VBAC and one was another emergency c-section. Just be sure the doctor in care of your pregnancy is aware of your medical history so they can watch you closely, especially as you approach your due date. Best wishes!
The scarred uterus makes you high risk. So no matter what you do, you will always be considered a high risk pregnancy.
And I am confused by what you meant when you said "I wish I would have known this, I may have been able to carry this baby full term!"
