I am on birth control and i have had some spotting, cramps, and stinging pain in my breasts. I took one pregnancy test a little early but an early response one 5 days before my period, so should it be accurate?

It showed up negative.

i agree with number two’s answer ,,, your more likely to get a false negative then a false possitive. and every person is different.. you might not have a strong enough hcg level to show up on a urine test. I didnt .. i went 2 months thinking i was preggo, pee test sayin negative, and had to get blood work done at my gyn office. you might can wait a few more days and try again or just to get a piece of mind go ahead and make a appointment. good luck!
Well then chances of that are none.
Every pregnancy test is just about 99.9% accurate ask any doctor.
And if your on birth control then it is extremely hard to get pregnant.
And those pregnancy tests are very accurate.
You can get a false negative but you cant get a false positive.
No, you should wait until your missed period that’s unless the test showed up positive???
my advice would be to get a test done at the doctors, that way you know for sure, sometimes you can read home testing kits wrong as there are different ways to do different bands of kits
If you test 5 days before your period is supposed to be due you only have a 50% accuracy rate. You can get a false negative this early so wait until you miss your period to test. When you miss your period the test is 99% accurate. It also is possible to get a false positive but that is only seen in women who are taking fertility drugs containing HCG. If you are not taking fertility drugs containing the pregnancy hormone HCG then you will most likely not ever get a false positive. So definitely wait. There is a good chance you may have gotten a false negative. It could also just be a negative too. You can never know for sure unless you miss your period. Good luck.
