I always wanted to know. If you just finished your period & the day of or day after you had unprotected sex, he ejaculated in you. What are the chances of getting pregnant? Is it possible? And are you fertile after your period? When are u most fertile? PLZ help!!!
you can get pregnant right after your period. you can get pregnant while on your period. sperm can live inside of you for days. you are the most fertile the week before your period though.
it usually takes 5-7 days after your period for you to ovulate. So if it was right after your period you should be fine..this is coming from my best friend who sees a fertility doctor monthly so she knows her stuff.
Well sperm living in you for 3-5 days is a common misconception. Sperm CAN live inside of you for 3-5 days depending on how abundant and fertile your cervical mucus (( CM )) is. If it’s not fertile at all the sperm may live a few hours so, this makes it even more of a struggle for them to get to the egg. I heard like older people say the day after your period you are most fertile, but i really don’t know about that. It is possible to get pregnant any time of month but, the chances are just way lower. You are most fertile the 2 days before ovulation, the day of ovulation, and about a day or two after ovulation. If you’re not sure when you ovulate now, you can take time to notice your body before, during, and after your period. THat’s what i’m doing now since i’m TTC. Anyways someone told me to take 18 days from my shortest period and 11 days from my longest period and have sex from that day until the next day.
Example.
My shortest period this year was 29 days and my longest was 34 days.
28-17= 11
34-11= 23
so from CD 11 up until CD 23 i would have sex every day or every other day to try and get pregnant.
