3)Chloe is concerned about the amount of weight that she will gain during pregnancy. She doesn’t want to get “too fat.” She has heard of women who gain only 10 pounds while pregnant and they wear their pre-maternity clothes home from the hospital.

i was one of those people who gained very little – and then walked out of hospital skinner than when i first found out i was pregnant (keep in mind i was very sick thru my pregnancy) – but tell chloe don not be concerned about your weight gain- focus on the unborn child. if all she is going to do is stress about weight gain – that wont be good for baby. How much weight you gain in pregnancy is pretty much something you cant avoid
Give Chloe this website…. it’s a weight gain tracker.
normal weight pre-preggo means you should gain 25-35 lbs.

i would tell chloe that what is more important is the health of the baby, not what you look like.
stop being selfish and appreciate the fact that you are able to get pregnant, unlike millions of other women who would give anything to be able to concieve.
you can lose the weight you gain after you give birth, right now, concentrate on feeding your baby all the essential nutrients it needs to grow healthy and strong.
im 3 months pregnant and the last thing on my mind is how much weight i gain.
Question #1: Who is Chloe?
Tell "Chloe" that she shouldn’t be too concerned with the weight she gains. I’m not talking about a burger fest at McD’s-just make smart choices about she eats. Eat whole grains; fruits, veggies, protein and calcium to ensure a healthy baby and a healthy mom. The women who walk away from the hospital in prematernity clothes are quite rare. Eat healthy, exercise and don’t worry about the weight.
i only gained 9 pounds during my pregnancy, and wore my pre-maternity clothes 3 days after i got out of the hospital. but my daughter was only 5 lbs. 6 oz. and almost had to stay at the hospital because she couldn’t keep her tempurature up. i wish i had gained the right amount of weight (about 1 pound a week, or 30-40 pounds at the end of the pregnancy) instead of having an unhealthy baby. who cares how much weight you gain if your baby is healthy? just breast feed and excersize, and you will lose all of the weight within 3-6 months.
It is very important to gain the proper amount of weight! 10 lbs is too little. Isn’t a healthy baby more important than fitting in to pre preg jeans? I most certainly had to wear maternity clothes home but I didn’t care! I had a healthy, beautiful baby girl! Just ask Chloe about what her dr thinks about a 10 lb weight gain.
Whomever Chloe is, she should not be too concerned about weight and gain what her doctor advises her to. My sister gained almost 50 pounds and lost it all after 2 months because she breastfed her baby. Breastfeeding and producing milk burns a lot of calories so losing weight should not be an issue at all.
At this time, I’ve gained about 25 lbs so far and am not concerned because I want my baby to be healthy. As long as my baby is healthy, I can lose the weight on my own later on.
