This is the third month of my husband and i trying to conceive. My period started on October 25 and ended on October 28. I usually have either a 27 or 28 day cycle. My husband and i had sex on 10/30 & 10/31, 11/2. I was wondering when are my fertile??? days and how often should i have sex in order to conceive???( i tried the every other day method last month and it did not work)

Usually, a woman will ovulate halfway through her cycle. You may want to pick up an ovulation predictor kit (ranging from $12-$20) to test your urine. You will likely want to start testing next week. You will also notice a change in your cervical mucous (it will be the consistency of egg whites and really stretchy) which will be better to house sperm.
Count approximately 12 to 14 days from the first day of your last period. For women who have a normal 28 day sycle, this is when they would most likely ovulate. If your cycles are longer or shorter it can vary. There are a lot of ovulation calculators on the web. One you can try is at http://www.fertilityfriend.com
