I am five months pregnant and i was wondering if being exposed to mono can harm the fetus. what can i do to prevent the virus before it gets dangerous, and what effects will it have on me and my child?

i don’t if if getting mono will hurt the fetus or not but i can atleast tell you what it can do to you.
if you have your tonsils they get all swelled up and get white patches on them and its hard to breath and you will constantly feel tired and just want to sleep all the time and your spleen can become enlarged and its best to not do any exercise until a month after you know for sure you have mono, and your lymph nodes will swell up and it will feel like you have a big lump on the side of your neck and it also hurts, them are the most comen symptoms.
i wish i could tell you if it will hurt the fetus but i don’t know, you could call your doctor and talk to them and they could tell you
