I’m not worried about being pregnant or anything, just curious. If you conceive like a couple days before your period, would you still menstrate?
I know you can get pregnant while you’re on your period, but doesn’t it actually happen afterwards? Or could your period just quit in the middle?
I dunno these might be stupid questions..

you always menstruate after the egg as implanted. it doesn’t matter if you conceived the day of or at the very end. and normally that period is the same as the rest.
if you were a few dates from when you are supposed to start your period, chances are you would not conceive.
the egg that was waiting to be fertilized has already been absorbed into the body. that is if you have a "normal" 28 day cycle, and ovulate on day 14.
but not everyone has a 28 day cycle. some are longer or shorter. some people do ovulate late in the cycle, but most ovulate about 2 weeks before the actual start of menstrual flow.
and people are mistaken in thinking you ovulate on multiple days, when in fact you only ovulate on 1 specific day, but are fertile for a few days before ovulation actually takes place.
You would probably still have a period…but just much, much lighter.
It isn’t possible to conceive days before your period. Most luteal phases (the phase between ovulation and your menstrual period) is 12-16 days. If you were to get pregnant and implantation occured towards the end of the luteal phase, you would not experience a period because your body would not shed the uterine lining like it does during your period. You could however have implantation bleeding but this is usually redder and lighter than a period. I hope that made a little sense. lol
