I found a stray cat that is 6-7 weeks pregnant. I know you can get a pregnant cat spayed but I wondering exactly how they dispose of the live kittens. Do they euthanize them with an injection or what? I really don’t want her to have the kittens since it will be very hard to find them good homes but I have an issue with having live kittens killed or have them suffer in anyway.
they actually kill the kittens and fix the cat. that is what they did to my dog when she was pergo and i went to get her fixed. when i took her i did not know that she was. so that is what they did. so if she is not that far along that is what they will do. if she is almost due they will tell you to let her have them then fix her.

Many vets probably would not spay a female that pregnant due to complications.
Under the law is must be done humanely. Talk to the vet or group who performs the spaying and ask them what is done. I have a cat who was pregnant when I found her. She was spayed and the paper lists that the fetuses where euthanized. It is a shame that this has to be done but the overpopulation of stray cats due to irresponsible owners has forced this.
