One of two things could happen in this instance…either
    A) You could get pregnant right away because in a sense, you are "unleashing" all of those pent-up hormones that were controlled under the pills. Many women find they are extremely fertile right after coming off of the pill.
    or
    B) It could take you up to 3 months to get your first period after coming off of the pill, and several cycles after that to really regulate your cycles.

Let’s pray that option A happens for you!!

You should wait at least three months after stopping birth control to try to conceive. It gives your body a rest from the chemicals you have been putting into it. It can take up to a year for your cycles to return to normal. this comes from personal experience. Best of luck to you!!!

it took us a year to concieve… actually yesterday was the year mark that I went off the pill… and yesterday I found out I was FINALLY pregnant!

I spotted for one day then had normal period later. Most doctors recommend that you wait at least 3 months after going off the pill before actually trying to conceive.

sometimes after you stop taking the pill you spot it’s normal, but your cycle of your period should start within the month, if you didn’t already have it. and about conceving…. everyone is different their bodies work differently, but it could be between 3 months to a year for everything to clear out of your system. if your don’t have your peroid in a month go to doctor and they will give you some type of pill to start it, because i had the same problem..

Every woman’s body is different. But it is recommended that you wait at least three months after stopping the pill to try and conceive. This will give your body time to not only release any of the "fake" hormones from the pill but also ensure a healthier pregnancy and gives your body time to get your regular cycle back on track. It can take up to one year to fully return to a normal cycle. Some women do not get a period right away and some women do. Some women spot as well. It is possible to still ovulate even though you don’t have a period. It maybe hard to track your ovulation but ovulation kits are still an option. Good luck!

wait atleast 3 months of being off the pill, thats what my doctor told me and i didnt listen and i had a misscarriage., then after the misscarriage the told me to wait 3 months before trying again, and i only waited 2 and i had implantation bleeding, and almost lost that one too, becareful, and ask your doc and whatever he says ….LISTEN!

Alot of it depends on your ovulation and cycle patterns. If your cycle was regular before if should return to that state one month off bc. You can get an ovulation kit to help you know if you are ovulating or not. I do read that some suggest 3 months of waiting, but others state that the bc leaves your system and you can begin without any harm to the baby.
