I weight 125lbs, and I’m not even 6 weeks yet, I just found out yesterday by taking an at home test. I’m going to make a doctors appointment as soon as I can. I was taking prenatals before getting pregnant so it can prepapre my body. How much weight did you gain and then lose during pregnancy?

I started out at 5’8 132 lbs during my first pregnancy. Ended at 195(don’t do that)
Second pregnancy started out at 147 ended at 176. Much, much better.
3rd pregnancy. I am not gaining much weight. Started out at 173.
Hope to lose all the weight i’ve gained over the years after this baby.
I was 135 lbs pre-pregnancy.
A week before I went into labor, I weighed 165 lbs.
It’s been almost 2 years since I gave birth, and I’m now 125 lbs.
I’m 5’9"
I gained 23lbs total for my pregnancy.
I didn’t gain any weight at all until I was 21 weeks along. Then from 21-34 weeks I gained the 23lbs but I stopped gaining weight after 34 weeks.
My baby boy was born on 9/9/09, 7lbs,4oz and perfectly healthy in every way!
Oh.. and I’m 10 weeks postpartum and still trying to lose some of the weight… I have about 7lbs to go still.
I’m 5’1 and gained 20 pounds with my first. I’m 27 weeks and have gained 16 pounds so far.
The average woman gains 20 to 30 pounds. What is right for you is depended on your pre- pregnancy weight. You should gain more if you weigh less and less if you way more. Based on your weight I would say 15 to 20 lbs.
Everyone is different and their body’s are all different. Some people bounce back and look great sometimes even better than before while others it takes longer. I say just be healthy.
I gained 27 lbs with my daughter and lost all plus 10 after she was born in the first few months.
If you are not over or underweight for your height then the guidelines are 25-35 lbs for a single baby (multiples obviously entail more). You gain most of this in the last trimester; a good pregnancy book can tell you what to expect month to month. I gained 40 with my first child but I was a little underweight to start. I still had about 10lbs of that when I got pregnant with #2 and it’s looking like I’m going to gain less this time around but still wind up right around where I was with the first overall. Each person and pregnancy is different- as long as you try to eat healthy and keep active you’ll be fine.
you a person with a normal average weight (like you)
& me, have to gain between 25-35 pounds. im only 9
weeks pregnant & havent gained anything yet but i know
ill get there. right now i weigh 120.. so we’ll see

i was 130 pounds when i got pregnant and the day of my c-section i weighed 170. it depends on what you eat and what your doctors think you should gain. mine wanted me to gain no more than 25 because of my height but that didnt happen lol and congrats on the little one coming
surpose that depends on what you crave…. i craved for cheese and onion pasties and ate 9 a day i went from a size 10 when i found out i was pregnant to a niffty size 30 still 2 month after i’d had my little girl, it took me a yr to loose it!
