If You Have Already Missed Your Period It Doesnt Really Matter What Brand Test You Use..At Least For Me It Didnt…I Am 3 Months Pregnant And I Used A Dollar Store test First The Day Of My Missed Period. And It Came Up Positive….I Didnt Believe It So i Went To Walmart And Bought A Walmart Brand One And An Ept. Both Came Up Positive And Then I Was Convinced. I Also Went To My Doctor and He Gave Me Another One And Of Course It Came Up Positive….Best Of Luck To You

It does matter. Check out the HCG level detection. 15 to 25 /mIU/hCG is best and wiil give you positive results during the first 2 weeks of pregnancy. "Any brand" with a 25 level or lower is fine. Try EPT.

I have 3 kids and i usually wait till i’m at least a week late for my peroid….any test is ok, but i always used 1st responce or a digital test. The digital test are kinda expensive… so i would try the other 1 1st. Good Luck!

i’ve always had luck with EPT. however you could be kinda pregnant, and yes there is such thing…. also if you’re stressing out about it, your period is going to stay away longer.

usually u dont get pregnant right after your period but there’s always some crazy excuse or reason for everything. I think ept is the best test i used it when i found out both times with my boys and my youngest is 8 months and i found out i was pregnant with him when i was 3 weeks with him if your pregnant it will show up now. good luck

    EPT or First Response

Truth to be told, EPT or first response don’t work any better than the store brand ones. I used a Safeway brand test when 10 days after conception (5 days before my period) and got a positive test.

Here’s some great information about different pregnancy tests and their accuracy.

Try EPT pregnancy test. You can take it now. They recomend taking the test with the first urination of the day so if you get it today and can wait, take it in the morning (although i took mine at 5pm after work and it was accurate then too!)

    Good luck!

It’s called "Mom? Can I ask you something?".

My dr told me to wait about 3 weeks after my missed period because it could always be just a bump in your schedule, but if you really want to know, go the dr. They can tell you right away. If you just want to take a home test, take the EPT. Get 2 or 3 of them and take them all to see what they say. You always want to take more than just one because you never know if one is broken or something. With EPT it doesn’t matter what time of day you take them. Good luck!

I’d take a test instead of waiting another month. At least this way you know.

I’ve heard that First Response is good. However, most tests now can determine pregnancy a few days before your period is due to arrive. You’re a good week or so AFTER…so any test you use should be able to pick up the pregnancy hormone if you are in fact pregnant.

I’ve used tests I got at the Dollar Store with the same results as expensive tests.
