It should be 100% juice, not a juice drink. I have always craved cranberry juiced and orange juice when I’ve been pregnant. I cut them with some water so they’re not too tart or sweet and so I don’t go over board on calories.

Well late in pregnancy i get acid reflux so i can’t drink any juice. orange juice with vitamin C is good. Apple juice. I drink Koolaid too i dont know if that’s good for me but no caffiene is the point.

Juice is loaded with calories…my OB says that’s one of the biggest reason for excess weight gain in pregnancy…women think juice is good for you, so some drink lots of it…but it’s calorie heavy, high on sugar (even the no sugar added kinds are loaded with natural sugars).

Try flavouring your water with lemon, lime, even orange…water is the best thing, and you need more of it when you are pregnant.

i really like the apple & eve juice boxes. there are a bunch of differents ones-apple, tangerine, grape, berry, kiwi-strawberry, etc. all are 100% juice and have added calcium, which i love because i don’t really care for milk. also tropicana healthy kids or with calcium.

water really is best since it has no calories but kool-aid has these on-the-go packets for bottles of water. they only add 30 calories to your drink–compared to at least 100 when you have juice–no artificial sweeteners, and they’re really good. no sense in wasting your calories on drinks! save-’em for the ice cream! ; )

I drink juice anykind like apple and grape, crangrape passionfruit my fav what i do is i do 1/2 water 1/2 juice because those juices are just too sweet, before they werentthat sweet to me but now that i am pregnant they are extra sweet so i reduce them. also some woman buy that crystal light stuff and add that to their waters for flavoring. i personally dont like them but if you want to have some kind of flavpring then go for it. i will tell you this i am also not a big fan of water like you but now i am 7 months and boy oh boy am i a fan of water now because even if i reduce my juice with water i do not give my body sugarless h2o and i start cramping up. sweet drink dont hydrate your muscles they actaully make you cramp up even more. you will start to get cramps on your legs and hand and arm joints and they arent fun. i try to drink at least a liter and 1/2 of water a day. also eat bananas and milk, your bones really ned the calcium and potassium. i like to make banana shakes and put some chocolate powder in there and ice ummmm yummy. remember sugar and not enough water makes your muscles cramp up and they hurt like hell. best of luck happy pregnancy!

i’d say cranberry and apple is by far the best or any other’s that don’t have lots of sugar added.
you should probably really try to drink some water though too!

this is especially for the first trimester….listen its important!

Fetuses do their most important growing with in the first trimester of pregnancy meaning that their in need of alot of nutrients and special vitamins that we normally dont get out of our regular diet…..like for instance they need more calcium in the first 3 months then the rest of the pregnancy! bringing me to your answer for juice…..Tropicana oranje juice with pulp and added calcium is one of the best things you could be drinking for you and your baby!!! Its really the calcium that counts though…well good luck on your journey and CONGRATS on the baby!!!
