heres an idea…. don’t have sex. Birth control methods are never 100% accurate.

  2. JANE says:

your doctor does not have to tell anyone if they presribe the pill or give advice…
methods include the pill and condoms and it is wise to always use condoms anyway even if he pulls out before coming-you can still get pregnant from pre cum and its very difficult for the guy to control.Especially if young ,you also need to protect yourself from sexually transmitted infections.Dont believe everything a guy tells you about their sexual history.
Most importantly look after you and dont think you have to have sex coz you think everyone else is….lots of people say they are having it when in fact they are not…
do you really want to have sex ?If so take precautions..future relationships are more special sometimes when you save youreslf for love.
    take care

The best possible way? No sex at all. That’s the only way you won’t get pregnant.

But since you are going to have sex, use condoms. Have you checked out the free clinic? Have you actually called them to see if they’d need a parent’s consent? Please take every step imaginable, no matter how embarassing you think it might be. What would be worse? Asking your parents for birth control or telling them you are pregnant?

Also, please know that you can get pregnant even while on birth control. There is no birth control method that is 100% preventable. Nothing.

Well I would say if you are very anti medication, definately condoms. Also pull out before ejaculation, but never use this method on it’s own!

  5. *Nikki* says:

its illegal for a doctor to discuss anything with anyone about your medical history.

you dont have to tell the doctor you are having sex, say you have irregular periods and you would like to regulate them by using a birth control pill.

By not being willing to see a doctor, you are limiting your options, but you do still have options. (Just FYI- you can go to a planned parenthood for FREE birth control and they can not legally tell your parents.) Anyway- you SHOULD use condoms. You can also use them with spermicide so that, in the event that it breaks, you have a back-up. Also use the pull-out method. This is where the man pulls out before he finishes, so that there is not as much semen to get inside the vagina and thus reducing the chances of pregnancy. You can also use the rhythm method where you do not have sex on and around the days you are most fertile. The issue with this method is that you can not always predict which days you will ovulate, especially if you have irregular cycles, and you have to not have sex for the 7 days prior to ovulation, the day of ovulation, and for three days after ovulation. Sometimes you can’t plan for these things. You can also try using female condoms and the vaginal sponge. Go to a planned parenthood to get fitted for a diaphragm. All of these things will help REDUCE but NOT ELIMINATE your chances of pregnancy. The only way to 100% prevent pregnancy is abstinence. My last piece of advice is that if you do have sex, and your method of birth control fails, (condom breaks, you had sex on the wrong day, etc.etc.) you can get Plan B and take it within 72 hours of having sex to further reduce the chance of pregnancy. Unfortunately if you are under age 17 you need a prescription for it, but anyone over age 17 can get it on your behalf at any pharmacy for around $40, and again you can also get it for free at a planned parenthood without parental consent.
