My b/f and I had unprotected sex and he did finish. I am not on any birth control or anything currently. I know, not a good idea. Although I do have an appointment in less than two days at the doc to get on birth control. I am aware they give pregnancy tests in the same appointment, but I am wondering if I were to become pregnant from this time only a couple days before my appointment if it is too soon to show up on a test?

Not necessarily – the Dr. can give you a blood test to check for pregnancy first. It may be though that it’s a bit early in your cycle and he’ll have you come back later to chat about b/c – they won’t give you b/c if there’s a chance you’re pregnant. Good luck.

Be honest with your doctor. Tell him when you and your bf had sex and it was unprotected. And your not sure if you could be pregnant. He may tell you to use condoms until you can be sure if your pregnant or not.
The soonest you can tell your pregnant with a home pregnancy is around 4 weeks but if you go to your doctor for a blood test pregnancy test, its 6-8 days after ovulation.
Your doctor may not give you a blood test and make you wait until you either missed or didnt miss your period.
You can re-schedule your appt for next month. Your doctor probably wont want you to have b.c in case that you may be pregnant and cause harm to your baby. Good Luck!

After your missed period. You have to wait till you "expected" period and wait a few days after that.
