I know the commercials say "Five days before your missed period" but f*ck that! How many weeks pregnant can you be when you get a positive result from a home pregnancy test? When is the earliest you can get a positive result?
No, the correct time is two weeks after you’ve ovulated… The same time you’d be getting a period if you have regular ones.
about what the commercial says…unless you go see a doc and they do a blood test…then they can tell if you have the hcg hormones in your blood…other than that about 5 days before you are supposed to have a period
some brands claim to get a result as early as 4 days before your expected period. I know with my daughter I used the clear blue Digital test and 1 week before my period was due i got a positive result. But even when I went to get the blood work I had to return 3 days later to make sure my HCG levels were multiplying as they told me I must of thaken the test 1-2 days after implantation and my levels were so low
About 5 days before your missed period. Which would make you about 11 days pregnant, because ovulation occurs approx. 14 days before your period and that’s around when fertilization occurs.

Uhm,, I don’t believe these answers are completely correct. I was just reading how accurate at home pregnancy tests are and many women with this kind of experience mentioned that they have taken 4 tests that turned out negative AFTER their missed period and then finally took another maybe a week later and it came out positive!!! No one said anything about 5 days B4 your missed period ever working well at all.. and someone said something about not knowing until 2 months into the pregnancy.. no symptoms as others experienced.

The right time is 2 weeks after your missed period.
i got a positive test result 11 days after i had sex. I used the cheap walmart brand. The next day i took a clearblue easy and it was negative. I am now almost 6 months pregnant.
