I’m not condoning this behavior, but I know of a couple of situations where women have addimittedly "intentionally forgot" their pills, after starting to date a well-to-do man, or after a man refused to propose. In both instances they got what they wanted- a proposal.

i think it would be 100% of the pregnant women out there that intentionally got pregnant were on purpose….

ya i don’t understand that big deal it gets someone a proposal because you had to trick them,that’s pathetic and that’s not real love and wont last anyway,i dont know why some women do that or use kids as a bargaining tool,it just leaves you alone in the end,i agree with you i know see it happening all the time,or worse again a ‘bandaid baby’,

I would get pregnant accidentally on purpose with a certain someone’s love babby. I’m sentimental like that.
I think it happens a fair deal, but this deceitful behaviour will not bring the happiness one desires. And it’s sick that someone is using a human life to manipulate others…….and then bringing a baby into a volatile situation….
I’m embarrassed by all sorts of crap your gender does. This is just one of the ones that adds a permanent consequence.
I know of someone that was referred to as a "conniving wh0re" due to similar situations…

And there is no reason to be embarrassed by the actions of others. I’m sure you do things that if others may find "embarrassing," Miss High & Mighty.
There is no such thing as an accident that happens on purpose.
I don’t know any women who got pregnant to coerce a man into marriage.
I don’t think there have been studies in this area. But I bet the results would be horrifying. I also know of women who have done this, it’s disgusting and should be a chargeable offence.
oh gawd i hate these type of people cause seriously what kind of mother will they be if their pregnancy was a "tool" in the first place. using fetus as a bargain chip to keep a guys is so wrong and I hate people who do that.
Unfortunately……………so many women I know are doing this. so I would say maybe 50% if not more.
One thing that really bothered me right now, one relative married to this supposedly "independent-career-type" women, as soon as she was pregnant she quit the job, being 100% stay at home mom with the excuse of not wanting to send the child to daycare, etc. Well the kid was getting ready to be going to kindergarten full time so he told the wife to get back to work. He made it clear he doesnt want another child for another 3-5 years so she can go back to work and bring in more stable financial state to prepare for next kid, school etc. 2 months after he told her to go back to work, she has oopsie pregnancy. So she then said, well now I cant get back to work anymore.
Some even use pregnancy to not get divorced!! ugh… i hate this.
but yeah, more than half women i know have done this.
