I take Flintstone’s Complete and an extra folic acid. My dr. suggested it since I was taking the One a Day Prenatal vitamins and I was getting sick on them. They are high in iron and a lot of women cannot tolerate them. She suggested Flintstones, they taste good and are inexpensive. Good luck to your friend.

She really needs to be careful there, doc certainly advised me against taking standard womens vitimans as for starters the Vitamin A level is too much and can cause defects etc.
Definately best to stick to pre-natal as its the perfect tested and trialled balance & mix.
The most important of all is the folic acid, if she doesnt want the other vitamens the folic acid is the best thing she could take to prepare her body for pegnancy by decreasing her chances of spina bifida, you need 600-800 ideally 2-3mths before hand.
