So I’m pregnant with my first and I was just curious to know from people who have through this or from people that are more weeks into their pregnancy because I’m 6 weeks pregnant at the moment.
The weekend we found out I was pregnant we were so excited we bought some neutral bibs and pacifiers. lol.
I was excited and couldn’t help myself, at 8 weeks I bought a pair of socks and hid them lol when I got my 14 week scan I got a few bits and bobs in but waited until after my 20 week scan before I got majority of things in.. I’m 31 weeks now and can’t stop buying!
I didn’t buy anything for my baby until I found out what I was having. I was 18 weeks. And the first thing I bought him was a blanket and pair of little slippers. Congratulations on your pregnancy!
honestly i laugh at myself now, but with this pregnancy the first thing i bought was a rubber ducky
every child needs a rubber ducky. You can laugh too i still do
i bought swaddlers and blankets, lol!
I started buying things when I was well into my pregnancy. I started with maternity clothes since I was getting bigger obviously.
Then I started buying things for my son, whatever I liked and was on sale.
1. Baby clothes
2. Crib and bassinet
3. Crib set
4. etc.
Once I got to week 36, I started shopping for my hospital bag.
The first thing I bought was a Pregnancy journal. I wanted to be able to look back on the pregnancy, and to have something special to share when the baby gets old enough.

the first thing I got was some clothes on sale. just plain colored stuff till I found out what I was having. I was having a girl so I went a little crazy at that point
