I swear some people on here! The risks of a blighted ovum or chemical pregnancy ( the leading known causes of miscarriage) diminish after about 6 weeks. 6-9 weeks is when the fetal heatbeat is really established and the risk of miscarriage drops to 3-7%. After 12 weeks the risks drops down to less than 1%.

    * while some babies do survive earlier the pregnancy is considered viable at 24 weeks. Misscarriages after 12 weeks are rare

But if you are a normal healthy young women than you have nothing to worry about, dont stress over it. Just eat healthy stay active and be happy.

first trimester is the riskiest one in all senses. you need to take extra care, like no drinking or drugs or more coffee etc. this is also the riskiest period in baby’s development. take healthy meal. once you cross first trimester, chances of survival of pregnancy increase to more than 90%.

  13. *LaLaGina* Due November 14th says:

The easiest weeks are the ones you actually aren’t even aware you’re pregnant. Then up until 8 weeks (or detecting a heartbeat). Then up until 2nd Trimester (12 weeks). With every milestone the percentage goes down. Once you reach 24-26 weeks the percentage plummets. With 90% survival rate if birth were to occur at 26-27 weeks.
    Good Luck.
I’m sure everything will be fine.
