I have a 10 month old, and I am 28 weeks with my second, and I feel nothing. No Braxton Hicks contractions, no pains, no nothing yet. Not that my first pregnancy was hard, but..
I’ve heard that the labor time the second time around is like cut in half. I sure hope so!
Yeah I think a lot of it has to do with now knowing what to expect. And my first labor was like 20 hours or somethin!

My 1st boy was 2 years 3 months when nbr 2 boy was born which seemed perfect to be honest..but then when nbr 2 was just turned 6 months old I discovered I was pregnant again with a girl! labour 1 was 6 hours long and feckin sore! Labour 2 i was worried – coz u know what you’re letting yourself in for, but had a water birth and it was only 3 hours long (magic!), and the 3rd time there, i was sh**ting bricks coz i knew beyond a shadow of a doubt what was in store for me! It was okay though, very similar to my 1st labour in fact, and 5 hours long. All with no pain relief, just gas and air – god bless it!! Every pregnancy is different though, and it depends how baby is lying too, as to how well you feel. Labour is generally halved 2nd time round though, so that’s good news! All the best.

I had a very easy and stress free pregnancy with my first although i do remember being on edge with every little pain, kick, or lack thereof..lol..my second has been extremely easy..i think bc i know what to expect bc i have been through it before. so i understand what you mean!

the only difference was labour 1st was 5 and a half hours second was 1 and a half hours. I know its an old wives tale but i got told if your pregnancies are different you have the opposite sex, i have 2 sons both pregnancies exactly the same and i’m pregnant again and its totally different and guess what its another boy. Congratulations on your pregnancy.

Labor was easier the 2nd time around. Not shorter for me, but I was also induced the first time because I was 2 weeks over. The 2nd I was a day early (I was so glad). I’m hoping the 3rd time round will be shorter too…lol…i’m about 26-27 weeks….myself…

Just like everyone is not the same neither is you pregnancy’s, My 1st pregnancy was a breeze just seem like i grew a belly, labor was OK a Lil pain, everything went great thanks to the epidural. I had back labor. My 2ND child i was sick all the way til i was 4 months prego with her, everything bothered me, and labor i slept until they told me it was time to push (epidural once again) My 3rd baby which is now 2 months old it was up and down with her, i didn’t get sick but body ached most of my pregnancy and i even ended up in preterm labor @ 7 months. Labor was fine epidural again but almost ended up in a c-section she was trying to come out forehead 1st. funny thing was all my kids where big and came out sunny side up. Pregnancy and delivery can be different each time you never know. I was induced with all 3 of my kids they didn’t want to come out even after my water breaking they had to put me into labor.
