i am in my third trimester and it is so annoying. try to see if you can use tums. I used zantac because my doctor said that it was okay and that helped a bit. don’t overeat, don’t lie down right after you eat.

I use Tums, and it works GREAT! I like the Tums Smoothie kind as it dissolves smoothly and leaves no chalky taste in your mouth. GL and I hope it gets better =o) Congrats!

Tums! They’re safe and they work :)

Well I go through about 72 tums a week, a least. But, chewing gum actually helps because it makes your saliva glands secrete spit and idk why but it just helps. It actually keeps the heartburn away for as long as your chewing it. I do this when my heartburns not that bad just cause I feel like taking so many tums cant be good. even if its not ill advised…

i drink milk, which helps a little bit. I try not to take too many tums, since they can add to the constipation situation. I have friends take prilosec and other over the counter heartburn remedies. Just makes sure you check with your dr. before taking anything. But tums definitely help me.

Take 2-3 tums and drink a glass of milk. From what I hear its only going to get worse =] good luck and congrats on the baby

I actually keep a bottle of Mylanta in the kitchen and at my bed side. It relieves it right away, as long as you let the medicine work and not drink anything right after. I used it with my first, it was actually recommended because I had acid reflux. It was and is my life saver! Im 34 weeks, and don’t know what i would do without it!
