I need help to better understand all these different procedures such as IUI and IVF?
I’m not ready yet and am just looking into it for the future. 
IUI is what most women do because it’s so much cheaper than IVF. IUI is inter uterine insemination. You would purchase sperm from a sperm donor and it would get delivered to a fertility clinic, and then you would go in and the doctor would put a thin tube in to your vagina and insert the sperm in to you. that’s IUI.
IVF is when the doctor would actually put you under anesthesia and remove your eggs, and then he would combine the eggs with the sperm in a lab and then place them back inside of you. It’s much more expensive, and you have to be put under, whereas with IUI you don’t have to be put under.
