I am 23 years old and have been ttc for 5 months now (5 months ago I got off bc pills which I took for 3 years and have been trying since then). If I don’t become pregnant this month it will be 6 months of trying! I only have one ovary, but the doctor told me that there are no problems as far as the likelihood of me getting pregnant.
Is this normal for women to be trying to conceive for 6 months or longer before they have success?

the statistics are:
you only have a 20-25% chance of conceiving every month when having unprotected sex while fertile
and by 7 months only 75% of people ttc would have actually conceived.
Yes, actually it is said that it takes at least 1 year of trying before it actually happens. So don’t worry about it I’m sure nothing is wrong with you
the same exact thing happened to me and my husband. We tried for about a year and then finally we conceived. So don’t lose hope it’s normal.
