i know EXACTLY what ur saying. it started for me about 15 weeks pregnant and now im 22 weeks and im still on the same boat. i pee like 4 times a night and my belly makes it hard to find a comfy position, i told my doc, he said it was normal and to just try to relax as much as possible. with my first pregnancy i literally had no pregnancy symptoms and i remember i would sleep all the time, but now with this one its a total 360 lol

Lack of sleep won’t affect the baby. They sleep whenever lol. I had pregnancy insomnia and I would sleep from about 1:30 am to 3 and be up until 4:30ish and get back up at 6 am to see hubby off to work and take care of a 2 year old for 17 hours. This went on from about 15 weeks to 35 weeks. On the weekends he would take our daughter so I could sleep sleep sleep the day away LOL

I have trouble sleeping too. I am 18 weeks along. My doctor told me it is safe to take two benedryl to help me sleep. It makes you drowsy and helps me rest. But please make sure to ask your doctor before doing so. I am also getting up to pee and gas is always annoying. I cannot even fall asleep if my bladder is the tad bit full. Its annoying me but its one of the joys of being pregnant. My belly used to get in the way of me getting comfortable but I bought a body pillow and its the best thing ever. It was cheap too! Ask your doctor if you can take anything to help you sleep. Good Luck & Congrats.

Lack of sleep will not affect the baby nor Ambein CR! Ask your Dr to prescribe it to you. I had insomnia until he gave me my prescription. They usually say that if you keep track of the times you wake up at night that is the time your baby will wake for his/her feeding.

MY insomnia started at about 16 weeks, but its gotten worse. And HIGHLY annoying. Most drs wont give you anything to sleep just in cause it effects the baby, but im gonna ask mine on friday what the heck ican do cause im not sleeping at all at night. maybe once a week i’ll get a full 6 hour night of sleep in. ARG!!!!

My insomnia started on week 28, together with very hard belly at night, and waking up to pee 2-3 times per night- Seems my baby girl is training me for her birth since I wake up exactly at the same time every night, 3:30 am, wont sleep again until 04:30, 06:30 am and wont go to sleep until 7:30 am….I have just stopped working, for medical reasons, and luckily I can sleep in until 10 am…
