If there are no fertility issues with either partner, they are both healthy and such, then why would it take months to get pregnant?
It seems to me if your having sex at time of ovulation that should be it. Its not like the sperm or egg has to learn what its doing since they are all disposed of each time.

I’m just wondering what else would stop pregnancy. My husband and I are going to start trying now, and its fairly important to me (personally and because of work) I get pregnant this first month. I know when I ovulate and I’ve already started prenatals and eating better too.

Because mother nature is not an exact science. Conceiving is a delicate balance between hormones, uterine conditions, fallopian tube conditions, sperm health, egg health, and good timing. There’s a lot of variables here. Some hit the jackpot fairly early into their TTC journey, others take longer.

Good luck getting it on the first try!

This is actually a really good question , but it can take 2 healthy people up 2 a year 2 conceive ,
Its just that not all loads of sperm are ready or strong swimmers that’s why if ur man tests his sperm its Always better 2 get it tested twice .

me and my partner have been trying for 1 1/2 years but i have heaps of problems , like cysts , only 1 ovaries ect .

the best thing 2 do is 2 have sex for 3 days b4 u ovulate and 3 days after , this will up your chances alot

GOOD LUCK HUN TRUCK LOAD OF BABY DUST 4 YOU

Be careful about planning the exact month that you want to get pregnant. It doesn’t always work out that way and you don’t want to be disappointed month after month. If there are NO fertility issues, both partners are healthy and you are ovulating then there shouldn’t be a problem getting pregnant. I don’t want to be a downer but I thought that me and my hubby were healthy too at 24 years old and trying for baby #1. It took us 6 years and extensive fertility aide for us to have our family. You just can’t predict your body unfortunately. Good luck and lots of baby dust to you :)
