Hello, I am in my early thirties and would like to become pregnant. I work out three times a week and they are pretty strenuous work outs. (cardio, pushups, situps, no weights tho)
my questions is this, will working out make it harder for my body to conceive? If I have a fertilized egg trying to make its way to my uterus, can working out stop this from happening?
Thanks in advance!
i am in excellent shape, i plan to slow waaaaay down when i actually GET pregnant, just curious if working out will make it harder for conception to take place.

You might want to slow it down a little. I know that once you are pregnant the doctor will tell you to keep up your cardio but be careful with some of the other stuff. You don’t want to be pushing your bodies limits. working out too much can cause you to lose the baby if you do concieve, by putting to much stress on the baby. Good Luck Though. Babies are truly a blessing.
hard work outs make it harder for you to conceive..a healthy amount of exercise is great, but nothing too strenuous too often…this could harm your chances..hope this helps!
If I recall correctly, what you want to avoid is raising your internal body temperature.
Try doing less strenuous workouts.
